Robinhood Chain Brand Guidelines

Logo

The Robinhood Chain logo represents our dedicated blockchain ecosystem. To maintain brand consistency and integrity across all touchpoints, this specific asset must always be used to represent the network.

  • Under no circumstances should the standard Robinhood master logo be substituted for the Robinhood Chain logo.
  • Only the Robinhood Chain logo from this guideline is authorized for chain partnership content. The Robinhood master logo should not be used.
  • Use the Robinhood Chain logo exactly as provided. You must not alter, recolor, crop, or combine it with other imagery or text.
  • You must refer to the network exclusively as 'Robinhood Chain.' The shorthand 'Hood Chain' is prohibited in all external-facing content.
  • You must not use the Robinhood Chain marks in any AI-generated content, synthetic media, deepfakes, or digitally manipulated content that could create a false impression of Robinhood's involvement, endorsement, or sponsorship of any product, service, or statement.
  • You must not incorporate the Robinhood Chain Marks, or any element of the Robinhood Chain brand identity, into the artwork, iconography, metadata, or smart contract attributes of any non-fungible token (NFT), digital collectible, or token.
  • Report Misuse: If you become aware of any unauthorized or misleading use of the Robinhood Chain Marks, please report it to robinhoodchain@robinhood.com. Robinhood takes brand integrity seriously and investigates all credible reports.

Logo: Feather Symbol

The feather symbol features the standalone Robinhood feather logo, optimized for small-scale applications such as app icons and compact digital interfaces.

To maintain brand clarity, use this asset exclusively in designated symbol spaces such as app icons, favicon placements, and compact digital interface elements where the full Robinhood Chain wordmark logo would be impractical due to space constraints. Never substitute the standalone symbol for the primary Robinhood Chain logo.

Logo Usage: Clearspace

Our logos, lockups, and symbols should always have room to breathe to prevent them from getting lost or looking too cluttered in relation to other elements of a composition: typography, illustration, imagery, or the edge of a canvas.

Below is the minimum spacing when used at smaller sizes. The clear space equals the width of “R” from the wordmark.

Logo Usage: Sizing

Our logo is designed and tested to work at various sizes. To ensure that the logo’s legibility is never compromised, the minimum symbol size for adequate legibility in digital applications is 20px height.

Logo Usage: What to Avoid

Below are examples of what to avoid when using the Robinhood Chain logo or Robinhood Feather logomark. Ensure you are following these guidelines.

  1. The Robinhood master logo may not be used in any materials; only the official Robinhood Chain logo (provided in this guideline) is approved for use.
  2. Use the Robinhood Chain logo exactly as provided; you must not alter, modify, or distort the logo.
  3. Use the logo only in the approved color pairings; you must not recolor or apply effects like gradients or shadows.
  4. You must not combine the logo with other branding, imagery, or text.
  5. You must not use a low resolution version of the logo; use the high-resolution files provided.
  6. Use the Robinhood symbol exactly as provided, without abstraction. You must not alter, recolor, crop the feather, or combine the feather with other imagery or text without prior written approval. Do not rotate the Robinhood logos.
Six examples of prohibited logo usage: the Robinhood master logo, the feather with the word Chain alone, a recolored logo, the logo over busy imagery, a low-resolution logo, and a rotated feather symbol

Color

Below are the ways in which we use color with our logos. Ensure there’s enough contrast between the logo and its background.

  1. Black on white (#000000 on #ffffff)
  2. White on black (#ffffff on #000000)
  3. Black on Robin Neon (#000000 on #ccff00)
Approved color pairings for the Robinhood Chain logo: black on white, white on black, and black on Robin Neon

Messaging

  • You must keep momentum stats for Robinhood Chain separate from Robinhood or Robinhood Crypto. Growth, usage, volume, or adoption metrics must be attributed only to Robinhood Chain, and must not be blended with, or implied to represent, figures from other Robinhood products (such as the brokerage) or Robinhood Crypto.
  • Any statistic included in external-facing content should come with a clear explanation of how it was derived, either within the copy or in a footnote. Please include: what is being measured, the exact time period covered, the data source (with an explicit mention and link) to make the figure verifiable. Example: "[App] surpassed [metric] on [date], according to [source, linked]."
  • You must not refer to Stock Tokens as "tokenized stocks" or "tokenized equities." Use "Stock Tokens" in full. Approved alternative language: "tokenized real-world assets such as Stock Tokens."
  • You must use "Robinhood Chain" in full in all external copy. Use of "Hood Chain" or any other shorthand is prohibited.

ROBINHOOD CHAIN word mark

This section covers use of the ROBINHOOD CHAIN word mark, meaning the name "Robinhood Chain" as used in plain text, independently of the Robinhood Chain logo or feather symbol. All word mark use is subject to the Terms. In the event of any conflict between this section and the Terms, the Terms control.

  • Use the name in full. You must refer to the network as "Robinhood Chain" in all external-facing content.
  • You must not use "Hood Chain," "Chain," "Robinhood" on its own, or any other shorthand, abbreviation, or informal variant to refer to the network.
  • In running text and external copy, write "Robinhood Chain" in the title case in every instance. Example: "Our application is deployed on Robinhood Chain."
  • In headings and display copy, follow the capitalization convention of the surrounding content, provided both words remain capitalized. Example: "Building on Robinhood Chain: a developer's guide."
  • You may use your own house font, but you must not to italicize, underline, or otherwise style "Robinhood Chain" in a way that distorts the mark or fragments its components. For example, do not bold "Robinhood" while leaving "Chain" in regular weight, or render the two words in different colors.

Messaging: What to Avoid

  • You must not tag @RobinhoodApp in content related to Robinhood Chain partnerships; tag @RobinhoodCrypto instead.
  • You must not reference $HOOD (or HOOD) in any context. This is a stock ticker and is subject to regulatory restrictions.
  • You must not include projected, estimated, or forward-looking figures in co-marketing content. Only reference verified historical data.
  • You must not amplify or comment on Robinhood news, earnings, or regulatory matters via co-marketing posts, whether directly or indirectly.
